We will provide the successful candidate with any necessary training, as well as industry know-how.
Purpose of Role
- Develop and implement strategy for expanding CF activity in the G & H sector, for both passenger and cargo segments
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities with special focus on development of government & humanitarian sectors within the Americas
- Expand CF relationships with regional G & H entities & Maintain existing client base within the government & humanitarian sector
- Develop and maintain relevant operator/vendor relationships within the region with special focus on government & humanitarian project suppliers
- Focus on improvement of customer product offering and operational initiatives to provide broader scope of services to target industry and customers
- Enhance the company’s image as a market leader for cargo air charter services & support marketing, PR and related communication efforts for G & H
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify opportunities to expand CF activity within the G & H sector, both within the region and worldwide Expand client base and visit potential clients with a view to generating further business
- Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations with a view to identifying further business opportunities, raise profile and brand recognition of the Chapman Freeborn Group.
- Lead the proposal and bid development process for relevant regional opportunities
Sales Strategy
- Assess overall potential for G & H sector development for CF Americas
- Develop regional & target industry sales strategy including key focus areas and new and existing clients
- Develop specific sales plans and implement related business objectives in line with overall strategies, including sales and marketing and supplier strategies.
- Monitor and report progress monthly against Sales Strategy as appropriate
Competitor activity
- Keep current on competitor activity and provide relevant feedback via existing reporting and communication structures.
- Track competitiveness of CF services vis a vis missed opportunities (quality, pricing, etc.)
Client relationship management
- Maintain regular client contact via personal visits and remote contact to identify requirements and source suitable, competitive aircraft solutions.
- Initiate and lead relevant contract negotiations for long term or ad hoc business opportunities.
- Maintain and develop relationships with both key clients and new business leads to maximize business opportunities.
- Act as principal point of contact with assigned clients for all manner of issues, including service delivery, opportunity management, client developments and administrative requirements
Communication
- Lead the internal communication and coordination of G & H related activity within Americas and across the regions to ensure appropriate information sharing and coordination of opportunities
- Lead the external communication effort with G & H entities as needed to ensure maximum client engagement and information
