Purpose of the Role
- Oversee regional performance and ensure business objectives are met.
- Lead teams, develop strategies, and improve operations.
- Strengthen client relationships and secure new business.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Responsibilities of the Role
Development and Performance
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow the business in new and existing markets to ensure business objectives are met.
- Keep up to date with competitor activity to identify business opportunities.
- Work in partnership with the local broker teams by providing them with all relevant information and supporting them throughout the brokering process.
- Build-up long-term business relationships with clients in order to guarantee for business to return.
- Ensuring that processes across the region removes potential risk to the business by ensuring checks and balances are in place.
Flight Quoting
- Communicate effectively with aircraft providers for offers.
- Negotiate with aircraft providers when necessary to procure best value for clients.
- Evaluate suitable commission schedule.
- Ensure timely offer with detailed and accurate information is provided for clients.
- Follow up regularly and work towards confirmation.
Flight Booking
- Ensure all contracts, insurance and regulatory matters are accurate, legally compliant and that company requirements are met.
- Verify supplier contract in detail and ensure all terms comply with company charter agreement.
- Issue flight brief with all flight related information.
Client Relationship Management
- Liaise with clients to identify requirements and source suitable, competitive aircraft charter solutions.
- Maintain and develop relationships with both key clients and new business leads to maximise business opportunities and increase client loyalty in an industry where client retention is never guaranteed.
- Ensure client is always kept informed of any development linked to specific bookings.
Communication
- Participate in conference calls to ensure effective sharing of information across the Chapman Freeborn Group.
- Keep up to date with activities of the team in other locations within the company.
- Promote ASG’s products and entities within the Chapman Freeborn Group, their employees and managers based in the region.
People Management
- Lead by example and use a hands-on support approach to managers and staff.
- Foster a highly collaborative, commercial approach to inter-company business encouraging greater communication at all levels.
- Positively communicate agreed strategies to local personnel to ensure successful implementation.
- Act in a professional, confidential and appropriate manner in all staff interactions and employee matters.
Marketing
- In coordination with, and under the guidance of, the Group PR & Marketing Department, to undertake regional specific marketing initiatives to ensure the growth and professional representation of the organization’s brand.
- Attend and represent the organization at agreed trade shows, conferences and industry events
- Ensure that all marketing material is in line with Group PR, Brand & Communication, Marketing procedures.
Group policies and procedures
- To undertake all activities in accordance with applicable group policies and procedures to ensure that the interests of the company and individual entities are protected at all times.
- At all times to ensure that legal and commercial risks (to the extent relevant to the post holder role) are identified and minimized through effective communication with applicable stakeholders as well as relevant support functional departments and, when necessary Executive Committee.
Other
- To carry out any other duties within the competence of the role holder, as requested (including additional working hours as and when required).
