ABACE 2013 set to put China’s private jet market in the spotlight

This year’s Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) is fast approaching and China’s premier private jet show looks set to be the biggest and best yet.

Held at the new Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Centre from April 16-18, 2013, ABACE 2013 will put China’s growing private jet market firmly in the spotlight.

With Asia playing an ever more important role in the world economy, it continues to witness significant growth in air travel.

Key market forecasts predict that during the next 20 years, nearly half of the world’s air traffic growth will be driven by travel to, from, or within China and the Asia Pacific region.

This is in line with the growth potential in the private charter market, with China in particular taking off in terms of private jet demand.

Chapman Freeborn has had an established sales and marketing operation in Beijing since 2004 and with the opening of a second office in Shanghai we recently strengthened our presence in China and reinforced our commitment to expansion in the Asian market.

Our China team will be joined by international colleagues at ABACE 2013 and we’ll be showcasing our charter expertise alongside aircraft operators and leading private jet manufacturers from around the world – including Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault Falcon and Gulfstream.

The aircraft types on display this year include various transcontinental private jets such as a Gulfstream G650, Dassault Falcon 7X and Embraer Lineage 1000, as well as smaller aircraft including a Nextant 400XT and Piaggio Avanti II.
