Air Cargo Americas 2013: Industry to focus on key trends and growth opportunities

We’re now only a week away from the start of Air Cargo Americas 2013 – one of most important trade events for the air cargo industry.

The Miami-based show – which claims to be the largest air cargo exhibition in the western hemisphere – attracts senior executives from across the industry including airlines, freight forwarders and airport authorities, as well as cargo importers and exporters.

Chapman Freeborn’s US cargo charter team will also be at the show (Booth 811) to showcase its aircraft charter expertise and on board courier (OBC) services.

The opening conference session at this year’s event features expert panellists including Reto Hunziker, Chapman Freeborn’s group cargo director, who will discuss the current market trends, as well as strategies and forecasts for growth in the next two years.

Other topics on the agenda include a review of the region’s infrastructure expansion projects to benefit and stimulate the flow and growth of trade with the Americas, and discussions on the growing importance of emerging air cargo markets.

“We look forward to giving our unique insights and hearing other perspectives on the current topics affecting the air cargo sector,” says Hunziker.

If you’re heading to Air Cargo Americas 2013 and would like to schedule a meeting, please get in touch. Reto Hunziker will be joined at the event by Russi Batliwala, Chapman Freeborn’s CEO, and Gavin-jon Deeks, president of Chapman Freeborn’s US operation.
