Air cargo industry descends on Munich for Transport Logistic 2013
This week Chapman Freeborn’s cargo charter team is heading to Air Cargo Europe – part of the Transport Logistic 2013 show and a key event in the diary of all the players in the world of cargo transport.
Despite the challenging global economy, the organisers report that over 2,000 exhibitors from 64 countries have registered to take part in the show (that’s 110 more exhibitors than took part in the last event in 2011).
Alongside Chapman Freeborn (Stand 115, Hall A4), the exhibition will feature airports and cargo airlines from around the world – as well as leading aerospace manufacturers like Boeing and EADS.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a conference programme designed to give insight into new markets and trends, as well as providing a forum to discuss some of the challenges the air cargo industry faces in 2013.
On the second day of Air Cargo Europe the World Air Cargo Awards will also be presented at a gala dinner event.
We were voted Air Cargo Charter Broker of the Year at the World Air Cargo Awards for the sixth straight year in 2012 and we’re crossing our fingers again this time around!
This year’s show is a special one for Chapman Freeborn as we’re currently celebrating our 40th anniversary. You can read more on that story here.
We’re also expecting plenty of interest in our new strategic cooperation agreement with Lufthansa Cargo, who will also be present at the show. As we blogged recently, we are proud to now be handling all of Lufthansa Cargo’s third-party chartering requirements. Read more here.
