Chapman Freeborn and Etihad create the world’s largest private jet experience
Chapman Freeborn is proud to announce a collaboration that links Etihad‘s First Class network including The Residence – a three-room luxury suite on board its A380 fleet – with worldwide private jet charter.
Etihad have recently launched The Residence – measuring 125 square feet, it has changed the landscape of premium airline travel with a living room, double bedroom, private bathroom, dedicated Savoy-trained Butler and onboard Chef.
The Residence is currently available on board A380 flights from Abu Dhabi to London and Sydney, with Abu Dhabi to New York going live in December this year.
Where a client’s travel needs fall outside of the Etihad Residence and First Class network, Chapman Freeborn will provide onward private jet charter, meaning the collaboration has the potential to offer one of the largest seamless luxury travel experiences in the world.
While onboard the Residence, clients will experience the same level of luxury, discretion and amenities that are present onboard a chartered business jet.
Additionally, Resident passengers will be treated to Etihad lifestyle concierge services, which works closely with the airline’s butlers to deliver a highly personalised experience. Services include a range of dining reservations, entertainment bookings, special events, destination information and lifestyle services. On the ground, a VIP Concierge team assists guests with all check-in and security formalities, mirroring Chapman Freeborn’s global private jet service
Also available on the Etihad Airways A380 are nine luxurious cabins labelled ‘First Apartments’. These feature a private living space including a reclining lounge chair and an ottoman that folds out in a separate 80.5 inch long bed. Etihad provides First Apartment passengers with superior à la carte dining, or a menu tailor-made from a larder of fresh ingredients – all prepared exclusively by the onboard chef.
Guests onboard The Residence and First Apartments are welcome to access full inflight connectivity, including Wi-Fi and mobile services, advanced personal entertainment systems, and luxury chauffeur transfers to and from airports served by Etihad Airways’ A380 fleet.
