Cargo Air Charter

Chapman Freeborn arranges first ever Boeing B747-8F charter from Stuttgart Airport

Chapman Freeborn has successfully coordinated a B747-8F cargo charter to transport a 77-ton load from Stuttgart, Germany to Houston in the USA.

The operation – carried out on behalf of a freight forwarder – utilised an Atlas Air B747-8F to transport a load consisting of numerous vehicles.

The operation marks the first ever 747-8F charter from Stuttgart Airport (STR) and Chapman Freeborn had to work hard to ensure the complex operation went smoothly. Special permits had to be obtained and dedicated equipment had to be brought into the airport to serve the aircraft.
