Chapman Freeborn sees significant increase in U.S. private jet charter requests
Chapman Freeborn’s private jet charter specialists in the U.S. have seen a notable increase in jet requests, over and above the seasonal increase for summer bookings. Many of these requests can be attributed to the United States Open Championship (commonly known as the U.S. Open) taking place from June 15-18 and the incredibly well-connected Erin Hills golf course in Wisconsin.
Helen Hollis, Chapman Freeborn USA passenger charter manager, noted:
“We tend to see a sharp increase from mid-April into the summer months for private jet travel around, and out of, the States, however this year the team have dealt with a significant number of requests into Wisconsin”
She adds
“Whilst the U.S. Open is an annual event, one could argue that the well-connected course – with seven airports within an hour’s drive – has contributed to the increase in charter requests.”
Another cause for the increase in demand could lay in the state of Wisconsin itself – with the area bursting to life in early June, marking the arrival of summer and with it a myriad of adventure and family activities on offer.
