Corporate travel executives worldwide are preparing for the start of the ACTE Global Corporate Travel Conference in Miami, Florida, USA.
Beginning on the 27th April, the event is a key industry occasion that is attracting attention from the Americas as well as further afield.
Held in the InterContinental Hotel in downtown Miami, the conference will see speakers and attendees from some of the biggest names in travel and business, including the likes of Emirates, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Amadeus, Coca-Cola, AMEX & Cisco to name but a few.
A variety of keynote presentations, conference workshops and education sessions will provide insight on industry trends, innovations, behavioural preferences and strategies essential to ongoing success and efficiency in the future.
The venue itself is located in the heart of downtown Miami’s financial and business district, and offers richly appointed accommodations and breath-taking views of Biscayne Bay.
As a global centre of commerce and finance, Miami couldn’t be a more appropriate location for such an event, with a prolific number of international corporations headquartered in the city. In addition, Miami is home to one of the busiest airports in the world and the largest gateway between the United States and Latin America. Miami International Airport is served by 80 airlines offering routes to over 150 destinations worldwide and in 2013 saw 20.3 million domestic and 20.2 million international passengers.
In terms of air charter demand, Miami is a staple destination for large corporate groups travelling to meetings and incentive events.
This is no surprise when in addition to its corporate accolades; the city is home to a host of incredible beaches, cultural attractions and a year-round warm climate.
