This is the Central American country bordered by both the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean. Adorned with rainforests, beaches and volcanoes – it’s rugged natural beauty and cosmopolitan cities make it a popular draw to tourists.

Start your adventure in the capital San José where your private charter flight will touch down at Juan Santamaria airport in the city of Alajuela, 20km from downtown San José.

Here you’ll find a wide range of luxury accommodation. For those looking to stay in the city centre, the Hotel Intercontinental is a great option. This 5-star hotel is centrally located and features world-class amenities, stunning views of the city, and a rooftop pool and bar. Alternatively, the Xandari Resort & Spa is located in the nearby hills and offers an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

For an upscale experience, La Cascada is a great option. This chic restaurant specializes in contemporary Costa Rican cuisine and offers stunning views of the city.

Back on your private charter and you’re off to Tamarindo, high up on a peninsula abutting the Pacific Ocean.

This popular city enjoys year-round sunshine and offers the chance for days of endless relaxation on the beach, treks into the nearby rainforest or a day or two on the golf-course.

Stay at the Cala Luna Boutique Hotel for mindful luxury and an intimate setting. With stunning suites or entire private villas, enjoy spa treatments, yoga and a dip in the pool or head out for the day to the nearby beach.

You’ll also find fine dining and a superb collection of organic wines at the hotel’s onsite restaurant.

Eating out you’ll want to head to the beachfront where you’ll find a great selection of bars and restaurants, perfect for a sundown cocktail and a taste of fresh seafood.

A guided tour of the nearby jungle trails is well worth your time and you’ll likely see some of the local wildlife up close and personal with experienced guides.

Round off the trip with a private cruise and dinner spent aboard a luxury yacht, one of the very best ways to see the coast from a different angle.
When will you visit Costa Rica? This large country enjoys a varied climate depending on where you land. Roughly speaking you can divide the seasons up into dry – December to April, and wet – May to November, though this won’t take into account the micro seasons enjoyed by the various regions.
