Hire a Private Jet to Iceland

Nestled in the north Atlantic Ocean, Iceland – the land of fire and ice – stands as a testament to nature’s raw power and breathtaking beauty. From its rugged landscapes to its stunning waterfalls and vibrant culture, this island nation captivates travellers from around the globe.

Your private jet charter can land at Reykavik Airport, just a 10-minute drive from the island’s capital, Within minutes, you can be at the city’s EDITION Hotel, which couples modern luxury with a prime downtown location next to the harbour.

The exterior of the hotel is black, to mimic the country’s landscape of lava, but the interior is full of tactile elements: rugs and throws, leather-clad columns, and a glass-covered fireplace.

The rooms are spacious with views of Mt. Esja and the Snæfellsjökull glacier, the welcome is warm, and the buzzing restaurant is helmed by a Michelin star-winning chef cooking modern Icelandic cuisine.

If you prefer to leave the hotel to dine, Skál could be described as an Icelandic gastropub, offering up small plates with hand-foraged ingredients such as pineapple weed and lovage, natural wines and memorable cocktails.

Iceland’s nightlife punches well above its weight – try the intriguing list of cocktails using local ingredients at Apotek Restaurant, such as the Laugardalur which boasts gin, lemon, yuzu, tarragon and rhubarb.

Reykjavik is well-placed for an icy Icelandic adventure as the capital is just outside the famed Golden Circle – a 190-mile route which covers the island’s three most popular natural attractions: the Geysir geothermal area, Thingvellir National Park, and the Gullfoss waterfall.

The Blue Lagoon, where you can wallow in geothermal waters, is also less than an hour away, and whale-watching expeditions can be arranged from the city.

If you want to venture further afield from Reykjavik then Akureyri, the unofficial capital of the north, is just a short flight on your private jet charter.

Quaint and picturesque, it is tucked between mountains at the end of a fjord. The area provides some of the best skiing in Iceland in the winter and in the summer you can explore Myvatn Lake, Dettifloss, and the tiny fishing village of Husavik.

Hotel North, a family-run establishment four miles from Akureyri airport, is surrounded by the island’s stunning natural scenery – and just a five-minute drive from the town.

If you’ve become cold exploring Iceland’s scenery, warm up at Krua Siam – a hidden gem serving up sharing plates of Thai food including pad kva paw, a spicy meat dish with basil and chilli.

Isafjordur and the West Fjords are probably the least-known places in Iceland – but curious visitors are rewarded with some of the most stunning views in Iceland with soaring mountains, lava fields, and glaciers.

Your private air charter would land in Isafjordur, just minutes from the town and Hótel Ísafjörður – a modern and relaxed hotel which is perfectly placed for exploring the area.

The best time to book your international charter flight to Iceland is either between September and March, to see the Northern lights, or between June and August to make the most of the midnight sun to explore the countryside.

And those contrasts – Northern Lights and midnight sun, fire and ice, bustling city and wild, empty countryside – are what make the country so exciting and draw visitors back again and again.
