GBTA 2012 brings out the great and the good from the business travel industry
This week’s Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Convention in Boston is an impressive gathering of the great and the good with thousands of travel managers and industry suppliers working on solutions to industry-wide challenges.
The Chapman Freeborn US team reports an extremely busy few days with high levels of interest in aircraft charter services (group charter solutions for conferences and events, as well as private jet charters for executive travel).
This backs up the GBTA’s claim that this year’s event has the largest buyer attendance in the show’s 44 year history, with almost 1,400 buyers registered – a sign that corporate travel is still very much on the agenda of leading multinational companies even with the challenging nature of the world economy.
Alongside the travel industry elite, the GBTA has also lined up a host of high-profile guests and keynote speakers over the week including former Presidents George W Bush and Bill Clinton, as well as celebrities like Saturday Night Live’s Seth Meyers.
The event has a couple of days left to run so there’s still time to meet the Chapman Freeborn team if you’re at the show (Booth 751). If you’re looking for more information on the GBTA visit www.gbta.org/convention.
