GBTA Oil, Gas and Marine Travel Symposium to fuel air charter interest
Chapman Freeborn’s air charter experts for the energy industry will be showcasing their expertise at this week’s GBTA Oil, Gas & Marine Travel Symposium.
The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) created the world’s first business travel forum last year recognising the need for an event dedicated to this interest group. The event aimed to tackle fares, rates, industry issues and logistics specific to travel for this sector.
The association has now launched the second event dedicated to this sector in Rotterdam 24-25 October, where delegates will be able to meet us and discuss bespoke air charter requirements.
Our clients in the energy industry have relied on Chapman Freeborn for decades – including tailored charter services for heavy and outsize pieces (e.g. wellheads, test stumps and Christmas trees), time critical equipment and transportation of dangerous goods (including Class 1 and Class 7).
Our cargo team can assess loadability of pieces, perform cargo inspections at manufacturer’s facility and advise on packaging requirements. Airport representation can be arranged to ensure aircraft loading and unloading are expertly supervised. We help to reduce lead time of critical items by directly chartering aircraft into the drilling or construction supply base locations, providing easy access to the operator’s rotary wing and marine assets.
Chapman Freeborn’s offices worldwide also specialise in passenger charters, crew rotations, Medevac, marine salvage and offshore solutions (including quick response to oil spills).
In addition, we also offer specialised On Board Courier (OBC) services that hand carry critical items from point of origin into customer’s possession at destinations anywhere in the world.
If you’re attending the event and would like to find out more about Chapman Freeborn’s award-winning air cargo charter, passenger charter, or on board courier (OBC) services please contact bart.lorijnen@chapman-freeborn.com
