We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Data Analyst to join our growing team. We are open to candidates to be based at our offices in either Frankfurt, Germany, Gatwick, UK or Vilnius, Lithuania.

​​The successful candidate will have between 3 and 5 years’ of relevant experience building reports and creating data models. An organised and logical thinker, the ideal candidate will have experience with SQL, Azure and ETL processes. We would appreciate a candidate to bring experience with PowerBI but this is not essential for this role. We would also be very interested in speaking with candidates who have held a similar position within the aviation industry.

​​As a fluent English speaker, the successful candidate will enjoy a challenging and varied role with opportunities to develop within the team long term. Our ideal candidate brings a Master’s degree or equivalent certification in a Data and Analytics related discipline.​

​​Purpose of the Role

  • To assist the Head of Data Analytics & Business Insights build, agree and execute a Strategy for the team, in collaboration with Senior Management, Group Sales and Marketing, Finance and Operations Directors.​
  • Designing the data model and managing underlying data sources to allow quick and efficient data flows to support analysis; participate in the development of strategies, operating models (i.e. organization and processes), roadmaps and business cases for analytics and business and market intelligence solutions, in liaison with the Technical team.​
  • Overall day to day management of Data Warehouse and Reporting Platforms.​

Key Responsibilities of the Role

Data Analytics

  • Assist the Head of Data Analytics & Business Insights to write and maintain a Data Strategy and Governance policy.​
  • Ensure Data Strategy is always upheld.​
  • Design and implement appropriated data model using SQL Datawarehouse.​
  • Support the design of ETL process to ensure data consistency.​
  • Build and manage a self-service analytics platform with support from wider team.​
  • Work with the team to design and build a data warehouse.​
  • Develop dashboards using appropriate tools i.e. Power BI and share them in a secure automated and personalized manner.​
  • Identify new requirements based on business needs to ensure business always has the correct insights to make strong business decisions.​

Business Insights

  • Integrate Data from Business Insight portals and other sources to the CFG Analytics Tools.​
  • Provide support during database deployments including user testing of systems as required.​
  • Identify data issues in the databases and work to resolve them, including integrity reporting.​
  • Provide support and training to users on how to use relevant reporting platforms.
