Purpose of the Role

  • To produce the management reports for Chapman Freeborn Airchartering, Inc. USA in accordance with group policies and procedures within the governmental segment. Provide support to the governmental team.

    Key Responsibilities of the Role

    Finance Coordinator

    Management Accounts

  • Produce all the monthly management reports for Chapman Freeborn Airchartering USA to include the following in an accurate and timely manner:  income statement and balance sheet review with detailed commentary, accruals listing report, fixed assets schedule, gross profit summary report (responsible for full reconciliation between CRM & accounting systems), bank, debtors & creditors revaluation reports, intercompany reconciliation reports.
  • Responsible for tracking and paying all invoices with the airline, keeping track of actual flight hours flown
  • Responsible for collecting and paying all fuel invoices
  • Responsible for collecting and paying all ground handling invoices
  • Responsible for collecting and paying all sub-contractor invoices
  • Responsible for tracking and paying of taxes and fees
  • Responsible for submitting invoices to the customer in a timely manner
  • Weekly flight hour reconciliation and fuel reconciliation
  • Maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports ( Fuel, Passenger, flight hours)Key attributes

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain teams as you will be the primary finance contact.
  • Desire to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.

Correlation with

  • To work in correlation with Finance and Governmental team within Commercial Passenger.
  • To work in conjunction with commercial teams to improve internal reporting.Group policies and procedures (Business Intelligence, Compliance, Finance, HR, IT, Legal)
  • To undertake all activities in accordance with applicable group policies and procedures to ensure that the interests of the Group and individual corporate entities are always protected.
  • At all times to ensure that legal and commercial risks (to the extent relevant to the post holder role) are identified and minimized through effective communication with applicable stakeholders as well as relevant support functional departments and, when necessary Board of Directors.

  • To carry out any other duties within the competence of the role holder, as requested (including additional working hours as and when required).
  • To travel when required in line with business needs.
  • Be aware of and comply with the company policies.
  • Keep up to date with industry changes, procedures and requirements relating to job role.
