Junior Developer

We are currently recruiting for a pro-active Junior Developer to join our newly established Business Process Management function as part of an ongoing initiative to streamline and automate processes across our global offices. The ideal candidate will have previous work experience from a commercial technical support role and has first experience in implementing integration solutions and business automation processes for in-house systems such as a CRM or document management tool previously.

Purpose of the role

  • Design and deliver application and automation solutions to support the Chapman Freeborn group of companies
  • Assist the Business Applications & Development Manager with technical support, investigation and troubleshooting of key business systems.

Key Job responsibilities

  • Develop solutions in line with digital transformation programme including but not limited to: CRM, new operational platform, document management systems, Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint.
  • Utilise Microsoft Power Apps, Flow, BI and Power Automate to deliver on process automation and integration requirements of stakeholders across the CF group.
  • Design and implement integrations between existing and new platforms as brought on-line.
  • Some coding in one or more languages appropriate to your task (C#, JavaScript).
  • Help in the support & maintenance of existing software consisting of CRM and Automation platforms Including bug investigation, fixing, tracking and production of user-friendly documentation according to processes.
  • Scoping of detailed software requirements via engagement with the team and other departments.
  • Working alongside managers across the organization to roll out new software updates.
  • Produce and run appropriate tests whilst adhering to business protocols.
  • Ensure standards and best practice are recognized, understood and followed.
  • Support in running the developed solutions to enable business testing according to business protocols.
  • Creation and Maintenance of technical and non-technical documentation to support the CIO team and other functions across the business.
