We are currently recruiting for a Passenger (Commercial) Charter Manager to join our team in Gatwick, UK. The ideal candidate will bring several years’ experience of working as a broker within the commercial aviation industry and will be confident in managing all aspects of a passenger charter flight – from negotiating offers, to flight operations and managing a portfolio of clients. Alongside this, we are looking for our successful candidate to bring experience in leading a team of dynamic brokers and helping to navigate a period of growth within the department.

Purpose of Role

  • To work with existing and potential clients and handle enquiries from their conception to execution by offering tailored solutions suitable to client requirements within budgetary and operational restrictions whilst making suitable profit for the company.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients to identify requirements and source suitable, competitive aircraft solutions
  • Maintain and develop relationships with both key clients and new business leads to maximise business opportunities
  • To work as part of a team and recommend new areas for development for the division.
  • Ensure all contracts are made according to company requirements, are accurate and legally compliant.
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers on issues relating to contracts to ensure these are addressed.
  • Ensure invoices are raised correctly with accurate information and payments are paid by clients and to suppliers in an agreed time scale.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers to maximise profits on individual files or to assist for others’ files.
  • To manage the existing passenger team covering the Employee Life Cycle including salary adjustments, sickness, holidays and absence, attendance, grievances, disciplinary measurements, appraisals, leaver and recruitment processes
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the team and it’s operations
