Kuala Lumpur plays host to 27th IGHC Ground Handling Conference
The 100th anniversary of commercial flight sets the stage for the 27th IGHC Ground Handling Conference – a “must attend” event in the ground operations industry.
A century on from the first paying passenger flight, over 750 aviation professionals will take the opportunity to discuss how the ground handling industry has developed over the years and what new direction it will take in the future.
The event, held in Kuala Lumpur April 27-30, combines a conference, workshops and interactive sessions with the aim of working towards a safer, more efficient and sustainable industry.
Specialists from Chapman Freeborn subsidiaries Air Dispatch CLC and Wings 24 will be at the event (Booth 25), showcasing their expertise in centralised load control provision and 24-hour flight support services respectively.
Air Dispatch CLC sro operates two state-of-the-art centralised load control (CLC) centres in Prague, Czech Republic and Warsaw, Poland.
The company’s two hubs work with a client base consisting of both legacy and new generation carriers, producing nearly 400,000 load-sheets a year – delivered to over 200 airports on six continents.
Nick Yeadon, Managing Director of Air Dispatch CLC, will also be speaking at the event in his capacity as Vice-Chairman of the AGSA Task Force – an official body focussed on reviewing and updating the IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement (SGHA).
Wings 24 will also be exhibiting alongside Air Dispatch, demonstrating the range of services it offers to airlines large and small.
In addition to arranging round-the-clock services including civil and diplomatic overflight and landing clearances, ground handling and fuel, the company has developed niche expertise in coordinating airshows and projects for leading aerospace manufacturers, airlines and humanitarian organisations.
