Latest private jet types will be highlight of LABACE 2013
Private jet charter companies, operators and aircraft manufacturers will all descend on São Paulo next week for the annual Latin American Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (LABACE).
The show – which is held at Congonhas Airport – is now in its tenth year and its importance to the global private jet industry appears to be growing. Last year’s event attracted record crowds and an estimated US $700 million of deals were struck.
This time around, manufacturers will show off around 80 private jets at Congonhas Airport – including several of the newest types on the market.
Dassault Falcon has already announced it will be displaying a Falcon 7X and a Falcon 2000S – their new entry level jet which brings large cabin comfort to the super midsize category.
Elsewhere, Bombardier will be showcasing the Learjet 75, Challenger 300, Challenger 605 and Global 6000 jets, and Gulfstream Aerospace will feature the wide-cabin, high-speed Gulfstream G150, the large-cabin, long-range G450 and the large-cabin, ultra-long-range G550 private jet.
Other big names in the static display area include Embraer Executive Jets, Pilatus, and Nextant Aerospace.
Chapman Freeborn’s private jet charter specialists will also be at LABACE to promote the Global Broker programme – a new service offering immediate worldwide support to smaller business jet brokers and operators undertaking aircraft charters in unfamiliar, challenging or financially restrictive regions.
The Global Broker initiative will enable firms to call upon Chapman Freeborn’s network of more than 450 staff based in over 30 offices worldwide.
Elsewhere, conference sessions at LABACE will explore the latest developments in Latin America’s private jet market, as well as the challenges it faces in the future.
