Magical Marbella | Private jet charter

Located on Spain’s southern coastal Costa del Sol region in Andalusia, Marbella is the ideal winter sun destination. Renowned for its beach-focused lifestyle, mountain backdrop, world-class golf courses, upmarket boutiques and sophisticated nightlife, Marbella has an historic Old Town with shady palms, brightly coloured houses and cobblestone streets.

Marbella Old Town (Casco Antiguo)

A tranquil escape from the buzz of the city Marbella’s bougainvillea-covered whitewashed buildings date from the 16th and 17th centuries, situated along narrow streets leading to charming squares such as Plaza de Los Naranjos (Orange Square). Built in 1485, the square is filled with aromatic orange trees and a selection of restaurants. Visit the Church of St Mary, the City Hall and the House of the Magistrate next to the Chapel of St James the Apostle.

Puerto Banus Saturday street market

Puerto Banus has a superb street market with more than 120 stalls selling antiques, fruit and vegetables, souvenirs and clothing. Take a break from retail therapy and head down to the harbour for a spot of people and yacht watching.

Alameda Park

Located in the Old Town adjacent the Alameda del Mar and the Paseo Maritimo, this delightful 18th century haven of peace is filled with lush vegetation, fountains, leafy palms and pine trees. The park features a main promenade, benches decorated with classic ‘azulejos’ Andalusian hand-painted tiles and cooling fountains.

Ralli Museum

Marbella’s Golden Mile is home to a superb collection of contemporary Latin American artists, specialising in Surrealist-style work among others. You’ll also find examples of Dalí and Miró here among the ten exhibition rooms.

Hike La Concha mountain

Work off the sangria and seafood with a four-hour hike up La Concha, the mountain that dominates Marbella. Considered sacred by locals, this Sierra Blanca peak is more than 12,000 metres high. On a clear day you’ll see across the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco and the Atlas Mountains.

Ermita de Santiago

The oldest Christian church in Marbella overlooks Plaza de Los Naranjos in the Old Town and dates back to the 15th century. Visit after tapas and vino on the square and enjoy the simplicity and beauty of this beautiful church with its colourful tilework.
