Mexico City readies itself for Expo Carga 2013

This week all eyes have been on Munich for Air Cargo Europe, but preparations are also underway for the next big industry event in the calendar – next week’s Expo Carga show in Mexico City.

The Expo Carga conference – or Cargo Week Americas as it is also known – features over 350 businesses from 25 countries, and attracts over 10,000 visitors from across the cargo sector.

Chapman Freeborn’s air cargo charter team will be showcasing its expertise at the show (Stand 420) alongside representatives from Latin American airlines, airports, seaports, road freight firms, and import and export companies.

Our team is also running a special workshop session on Thursday June 13 (1800-1850). David Mejia and Roberto Berrios will meet with freight forwarders and cargo professionals to discuss the development and positioning of the air cargo charter market in the Americas.

Other seminar topics of note include discussions on strengthening ties between Latin America and North America, and a special session helping companies better understand the Asian cargo market and the opportunities it presents businesses in Latin America.

If you’re attending the show and would like to find out more about our air cargo charter and on board courier (OBC) services contact: roberto.berrios@chapman-freeborn.com  or david.mejia@chapman-freeborn.com

Expo Carga 2013 will be held at the WTC in Mexico City, June 11-13. For more information please visit the official website.
