Caravan Amphibian charter provides Amazon adventure

Chapman Freeborn’s Brazil office recently arranged a special private air charter for a small group travelling to see the natural beauty of the Amazon Rainforest – one of the most exhilarating destinations on the planet.

Having earlier flown the party on a Global Express private jet for a holiday in St Maarten and St Barts, Chapman Freeborn’s Sao Paulo team provided a Caravan Amphibian aircraft for a flight from the Brazilian city of Manaus to the Amazon River to deliver the passengers to the luxurious Ariau Amazon Towers resort.

The Caravan Amphibian – the world’s largest single-engine floatplane – lands directly on water and helps bring civilization to corners of South America that don’t have traditional runways.

The Ariau Amazon Towers retreat, nestled in a canopy of trees above the Amazon River, is the only hotel built completely at tree top level in the jungle. It offers guests the opportunity to swim with rare pink dolphins, trek through the rainforest and relax in a luxury tree house to the sounds of monkeys and macaws.
