Chapman Freeborn announces appointment of new China manager
Chapman Freeborn Airchartering is pleased to announce the appointment of a new country manager in China.
The global aircraft charter specialist has named Dewi Gendo as General Manager, to be based principally in Shanghai with responsibility for the group’s operations in the Greater China and North Asia region where she will oversee strategic growth.
Chapman Freeborn has had an established sales and marketing operation in Beijing since 2004 and will shortly be opening a new Shanghai office to further enhance its coverage.
Dewi brings to Chapman Freeborn more than a decade of experience in China’s growing aviation industry, having previously held senior sales and business development positions at Polar Air Cargo and Lufthansa Cargo.
Fluent in Mandarin, English, German and Malay, she has an excellent understanding of air cargo and aircraft operations as well as local and international market knowledge which she will be able to use on behalf of partners and customers.
Chapman Freeborn has over 30 offices across five continents. The company coordinated more than 6,000 cargo and passenger charters last year.
