Chapman Freeborn announces new appointment in France

Chapman Freeborn Airchartering is delighted to announce a new managerial appointment in France.

The aircraft charter specialist has appointed Antonio Puerta as Business Development Manager for its offices in Paris and Marseille, where he will further expand the company’s activity in markets including VIP, corporate and incentive travel.

Antonio has over a decade of experience in the charter industry, having previously held a number of senior roles including a period as Vice President of Blue Line, the Paris-based passenger airline.

Yannis Gerault, country manager of Chapman Freeborn in France, said

“We are delighted that Antonio is bringing his skills and experience to Chapman Freeborn. He adds to our existing strengths with his understanding and knowledge of the French charter industry.”

Chapman Freeborn works with clients ranging from multinational corporations to incentive travel organisers and France’s booming sports industry.

The company is already seeing high demand for passenger charters to Cape Town and other South African destinations ahead of next summer’s World Cup.

Thousands of French football fans are expected to descend on the country to support Les Bleus, presenting opportunities for the air charter industry.

Chapman Freeborn’s Paris headquarters is also well placed to provide charters for the French capital’s business community, while its Marseille office in the south is ideally situated to serve the executive jet and helicopter market on the Riviera for destinations including Nice, Cannes, Monaco, St Tropez and Antibes.

Chapman Freeborn has 32 offices in 22 countries worldwide – including locations in North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. The company coordinated more than 5,000 aircraft charters last year.
