This is a Finnish city of many characters. Compact, charming and innovative, it’s surrounded by stunning lakes and forest and no less an equal to the capital city of Helsinki

Tampere, located in the south of the country, experiences very cold winters and mild summers. Between May and August, the long days stretch out until well after midnight. Temperatures rarely peak above 25°C but rainfall can be heavier during July and August. May to June and September to October are ideal times to visit.
