The White Motorway will whisk you to all the famous ski resorts, from Zermatt to Verbier. Non-skiers are sure to find plenty to do in a luxury ski chalet, often with a choice of jacuzzi or sauna to soothe aching limbs after a day on the slopes.

The climate in this fabulous city rarely gets too hot, but it can get very cold as ski season gets underway. Between October and March, temperatures generally settle into single figures and can dip below freezing, while the summers rarely reach above the mid-20s (69F).
