Cargo Air Charter

Revolutionary unmanned vessel flown on chartered Boeing B747-8F

A 20-foot oil and gas vessel was transported from the UK to the US on a charted British Airways Boeing B747-8F aircraft. The C-Worker ©,  an unmanned surface vehicle (USV), will conduct autonomous subsea positioning, surveying and environmental monitoring without the need of a ship on station or sea-bed anchoring.

The USV is capable of travelling at an average speed of 4 knots for up to 30 days by making use of its fully redundant power propulsion and communications systems.

By utilising charter experts in both its UK and US office, Chapman Freeborn and logistics partners SPI Freight Ltd and Logik Logistics International have proven that this essential cargo can be deployed to any oil and gas environment worldwide within a matter of days.
