San Antonio plays host to the 24th Annual CNS Partnership Conference

The CNS Conference will be held this week at the La Cantera Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas.  A fitting venue for such an event, the city of San Antonio is the 7th most populous city in the US and 2nd in the state of Texas as home to 1.3million people.  In addition, the city has a strong military presence, as home to Ft. Sam Houston, Lackland Air Force Base and Randolph Air Force Base.

The event continues to be the premier cargo event in the USA keeping attendees up to date with the latest development in the air cargo industry.

Every year, CNS attracts over 500 air cargo professionals from the USA and around the globe including executives from the freight forwarding community, shippers and airlines.

The focus of the conference this year is “Changing the Game”, and it is set to highlight how the air cargo industry will be adapting to the use of technology to remain competitive.

Looking over at the Conference Agenda, the attendees will be participating on the different sessions that will compose the 3-day event.  Air cargo industry “icons” including the likes of Dess Vertannes from IATA, Blake Bowlin from Caterpillar Enterprise System and Thomas M. Friedman from the US Dept. of Homeland Security will share their industry expertise and feedback regarding the future of innovation in the air cargo sector.

Chapman Freeborn will also be attending the conference, showcasing it’s industry expertise as the world’s leading air cargo charter broker.  Lynn Chris, VP Cargo Charters from the Americas Regional HQ in Fort Lauderdale, Florida will be among other industry professionals in attendance.
