Take a tour of Ethiopian’s Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner

Before too long the delivery of a new B787 will seem like old-hat, but for now Boeing’s flagship aircraft is still stealing the headlines in the press.

This week Ethiopian Airlines is ramping up its PR ahead of the delivery of its first Boeing Dreamliner aircraft on August 14.

The new aircraft – configured with 24 Cloud Nine business class seats and 245 economy class seats -will make its inaugural passenger flight between Washington DC and Addis Ababa on August 16.

Ethiopian will be the first airline outside of Japan to receive the Dreamliner. The B787 was first officially delivered to launch customer All Nippon Airways (ANA) in September 2011 and JAL took delivery of its first aircraft in March 2012.
