Where to travel in 2017

Sometimes 2017 is almost upon us and it is time to start thinking about where to visit in the new year. there’s no better cure to the inevitable January blues after the high of the festive season than planning a trip to somewhere new, exciting and exotic. Here are four places we think you should consider visiting during 2017…

Cyprus

Cyprus is a stunning island in the eastern Mediterranean. Paphos is one of the largest cities on the south of the island and has been named as European Capital of Culture for 2017. Throughout the year Paphos will present 152 projects and 300 activities from 1,500 different artists and creatives, so no matter what time of the year you visit you’re sure to witness some of it.

Seoul, South Korea

South Korea’s largest city Seoul is a dazzling metropolis of around ten million people. Here, visitors will find a city that is traditional and technologically advanced. Foodies are sure to adore Seoul, with fresh, delicious street food around every corner, as well as high-end, luxury restaurants, the choice of cuisines is endless. Whilst in the city, be sure to visit the bustling night markets and experience some of the themed cafes – dog and cat cafes being the most popular.

Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Town has been something of a rising star in the tourism world in recent years, and 2017 is set to be no different. Cape Town has been blessed with some of the most wonderful scenery and vistas in the world thanks to Table Mountain, numerous vineyards, some gorgeous flora and fauna and plenty of sandy beaches. In the city itself visitors will find a design conscious city with incredible restaurants, contemporary and traditional art galleries and museums and much, much more.

Atlanta, United States of America

Atlanta is one of the most cosmopolitan and cultured cities in America, yet is often overlooked in favour of big names such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and more. Atlanta is home to some of the best restaurants in the country, and thanks to its large immigrant population you’ll find foods from all over the world – Vietnamese, Mexican, Bangladeshi, Cantonese and, of course, Southern. Elsewhere, visitors will find a spate of museums and places of interest. Don’t miss the Museum of Design, The High Museum of Art, the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, and the massive Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
