Chapman Freeborn organises private charter flight for Berlin newlyweds
A wedding day is viewed by many people as one of the most important days of their life. Without a doubt though, choosing to hire a chartered plane or helicopter brings a certain ‘Hollywood’ feel to the celebration, creating a memorable occasion for both the couple and the wedding party.
There are various ways that air charter can be used to enhance a wedding celebration, whether it’s for the glamorous helicopter arrival of the bride and groom or guaranteeing a relaxed start to a honeymoon by utilizing private jet transport. Often, when weddings take place abroad, a group charter can also be a fantastic way of ensuring the timely and stress-free arrival of the wedding party.
That is exactly what two newlyweds from Berlin, Germany took advantage of for their big day. Together with 85 guests, the couple flew from Berlin Tegel to Nice, France on an Air Méditerranée Boeing 737-500 chartered by Chapman Freeborn.
Every aspect of the flight was handled by Chapman Freeborn, catering to the exact requirements of the couple and their wedding party. The air charter specialist even provided a flight manager that personally accompanied the flight to ensure every aspect of the departure and arrival was perfectly implemented.
After obtaining permission Berlin Tegel Airport, the wedding party were able to take photos on the runway with the aircraft, making the event even memorable for all in attendance.
Full personalisation was also provided – with the family’s coat of arms displayed on the boarding passes, at check in and on the aircraft itself including the carpets, monitors and pillow protectors. On board the aircraft, delicious catering was provided and served with Champagne.
After a seamless, successful and hugely enjoyable flight, the wedding party celebrated with a Soirée Blanche on the island of St. Marguerite, with a church wedding following the next day in the cathedral of Grasse.
