Walk the Scioto Mile

The Scioto Mile is something of an oasis stretching along the riverfront and comprising of more than 170 acres of lush and gorgeous parkland in the centre of the city. It is made up of a system of parks, bikeways, pedestrian paths and boulevards and is the ideal place to escape the buzz of the city, especially in summer.

Within Scioto Mile visitors will find a massive 15,000 square foot interactive fountain, an outdoor climbing wall and the Scioto Audubon, an area that attracts many birds of prey. There are also a number of events that take place within the area throughout the year, including a jazz festival, festival of illuminations and more.
