TIACA update: Looking ahead to Air Cargo Forum 2016
As we approach the one year mark before TIACA’s 28th International Air Cargo Forum and Exhibition in Paris, we take a quick look at why it promises to be the most important cargo event of 2016.
Hosted by Aéroports de Paris and Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo, innovation will top the agenda next October as TIACA’s flagship event returns to Europe for the first time since the show in Amsterdam in 2010.
Second only to Frankfurt in terms of Europe’s top air cargo hubs, and ranked 11th in the world based on tonnage, Paris is an ideal location to gather and explore the areas currently impacting the industry including manufacturing trends, sustainable supply chains, and the cargo hub of the future.
A panel of TIACA Board members, drawn from across the supply chain, will chair debates on topics ranging from the new EU Customs Codes to e-business and how the industry is gearing up to meet the changing needs of customers.
TIACA will also have the CargoLinx 1:1 meeting venue available at ACF 2016. CargoLinx will allow participants to plan/schedule 25 minute meetings with over 40 aviation companies from airlines to other service provider’s weeks before the event, ensuring a full agenda before the event takes place.
Thousands of supply chain decision-makers are expected to visit, and space at the event is already selling fast – now is the time to be thinking about your company’s involvement.
