On Friday 30th April, Chapman Freeborn Belgium managed an operation to deliver 9,000 vials of the antiviral drug Remdesivir (a drug used in the treatment of Covid-19) to Delhi, India.

On Friday 30th April, Chapman Freeborn Belgium managed an operation to deliver 9,000 vials of the antiviral drug Remdesivir (a drug used in the treatment of Covid-19) to Delhi, India.
This relief flight is part of Belgium’s response to supporting India with medical aid, providing assistance to the country that is in desperate need.
Chris Vandenplas, Chapman Freeborn Benelux and France Regional Manager managed the operation and chartered a AN-26 to get the job done.
The precious cargo, consisting of 159cm high pallets, were loaded at Oostende-Brugge International Airport (OST) ready to be transported to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). The length of transit time was 32 hours including 3 tech stops.
The operation went smoothly as planned and arrived successfully ready for distribution.
