Chapman Freeborn has been named a finalist in the Young Airfreight Professional of the Year category at the Air Cargo News Awards 2024, taking place on 23rd October in London, UK.
We are proud to share that our nominee for this award is Jason De Beer, Senior Cargo Charter Broker. Jason has been an asset to Chapman Freeborn during his five years with the business, and we are delighted that this has been recognised by the Air Cargo News Awards.
Jason joined Chapman Freeborn in 2019 as Trainee Cargo Charter Broker, and soon after relocated from South Africa to the UK to take up the position of Cargo Charter Broker, based out of the Gatwick headquarters.
From day one Jason has gone above and beyond to ensure a seamless service for our customers, and over the years his relationships with those he works with both inside and outside of Chapman Freeborn have thrived.
During his time with the business, Jason has succeeded in chartering some of the world’s rarest and most unique aircraft, including the Lockheed C-130 Hercules and the Antonov An124 – the latter booking one that he facilitated exceptionally early in his career.
Jason is an instrumental part of team, representing his peers and consistently going the extra mile. As such, he recently received a well-deserved promoted to Senior Cargo Charter Broker.
From starting his aviation career at Singapore Airlines at the age of just 18 and becoming the youngest permanent employee at the company, to now being a senior broker at Chapman Freeborn and relocating to a new continent for his role, Jason’s passion and dedication is a true example to the aviation industry.
