The global air charter specialist and part of Avia Solutions Group received the prestigious award at the air cargo event held at The Runnymede on Thames Hotel, Heathrow on 16th September 2021.
Chapman Freeborn has been at the forefront of the air cargo industry for nearly 50 years, and this has remained the case throughout the last 18 months. The huge challenges over these months only demonstrates how vital this industry is, and the part it plays to keep global supply chains moving, especially in times of crisis.
When usual cargo options were made impossible by the pandemic, Chapman Freeborn have innovated cutting-edge solutions to ensure critical cargo has continued to be transported across the globe. This includes, tens of thousands of tonnes of PPE, medical supplies, vaccines and even a mobile Covid hospital. From utilising the world’s largest freighter, the six-engine AN225, to a number of converted passenger aircraft, Chapman Freeborn has continued to deliver.
As well as responding to the consequences of Covid-19 and supporting humanitarian aid efforts, Chapman Freeborn have also been invaluable to many sector supply chains globally. Transporting vital equipment for oil and gas, mining and automotive industries as well as perishables and consumer goods, ensuring the global population has had the resources they need.
