Chapman Freeborn, the global air charter and leasing specialist, has finalised several significant ACMI contracts over the summer with its partner, flyadeal.
flyadeal is a sister company to Saudi Arabia’s national airline carrier, Saudi Arabian Airlines, and the contracts saw Chapman Freeborn assisting during the peak season demand for the Hajj pilgrimage.
Chapman Freeborn President – ACMI Leasing, Scott Collier, recently took colleagues from FitsAir, one of the key suppliers for these contracts, to Jeddah to meet with senior personnel at flyadeal, where they discussed both this year’s operation and future collaborations together.
The other supplier is Sky Angkor.
Scott said, “We are delighted to have secured and concluded 50% of flyadeal’s aircraft capacity for this year’s RFP (Request for Proposal). This fulfilled the peak season demand for the Hajj pilgrimage for flyadeal, with aircraft being leased in the APAC region from our colleagues at Sky Angkor and Fitsair cross-regionally and counter-seasonally.”
Chapman Freeborn prides itself on its unparalleled global network and charter and ACMI leasing specialists positioned in six continents, affording the company the local knowledge and expertise necessary to overcome the regulatory challenges that each region presents.
“With 32 offices globally, we’re always well equipped with local market knowledge and ideally placed to understand different cultures and languages. This is instrumental in forging lasting contracts that yield mutual advantages for our partners and associated markets.” Scott continued.
“Our achievements are collaborative. I extend my appreciation and gratitude to our esteemed friends and colleagues at flyadeal, FitsAir and Sky Angkor for their continued support, as well as to my team members Luca D’Urso and Bernard Bourgeois for their excellent work.”
