Canada is the world’s second largest country by surface area. Renowned for its untouched natural landscapes, vibrant and diverse cities, and its mix of culture, history and adventure, it’s little wonder annual visitor numbers are increasing.

We have been chartering private jets to and from Canada for our clients for many years. Below are the four most popular cities in Canada to charter a private jet to.

Toronto

Toronto is the most populous city in Canada and is home to more than 2.9 million residents. Toronto is said to be one of the world’s most multicultural and diverse cities, with around 140 different languages spoken there!

Toronto is believed to have some of the best restaurants in the world, so it would be rude not to put that notion to the test during a visit. Head to Kaiseki Yu-zen Hashimoto for their 8-course omakase Japanese menu, enjoy steak at either Barberian’s or Jacob’s & Co, or dine on elegant dishes in Café Boulud (within the Four Seasons) or Scaramouche, which offers gorgeous views of the city.

Ottawa

Ottawa is a city of 1.4 million people and lies in Ontario, close to the border with the Québec region. With grand Victorian architecture and museums like the National Gallery of Canada, the Canadian Nature Museum and the National Aviation Museum, Ottawa has an abundance of unmissable culture.

Ottawa has a select number of luxury hotels that visitors are sure to love. A favourite with discerning guests is the Fairmont Chateau Laurier, which opened in 1912 and has enviable views of Parliament Hill. Other favourites include the Hilton Lac-Leamy, with both indoor and outdoor pools, and Ottawa Marriot Hotel, which is perfectly located Downtown.

Vancouver

Vancouver is a large city and seaport on the west coast of the country. The city itself is wonderfully vibrant and has thriving art, theatre and music scenes.

Museums and art galleries are aplenty in Vancouver, and visitors shouldn’t miss Vancouver Art Gallery, known for its works by both international and regional artists. The Museum of Anthropology is also the perfect place to spend some time learning about the history of this great country.

It is said that every visitor should try poutine – a Canadian dish that originated in Québec and consists of French fries, cheese curds and gravy.Try some lobster poutine at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver for a taste of this Canadian dish in a decidedly refined way!

Montreal

Montreal is the largest city in the Québec region and is predominantly French-speaking. The city is set on an island in the middle of the Saint Lawrence River and is home to more than 4.2 million people.

Montreal plays host to a staggering 90 festivals each year, and has hundreds of theatre and dance companies dotted throughout the city. This makes it one of the most culturally rich cities in Canada. Time your visit to Montreal with the International Jazz Festival and you’ll find the city alive with music, dancing, ambient candlelit bars and buzzing nightlife.

Old Montreal is the oldest area in the city and has distinctly European architecture throughout. You’d be forgiven for thinking you were in France when strolling the cobbled streets.
