An elephant in Kruger National Park

Covering an area of around 20,000 km2, Kruger National Park is one of the most impressive game reserves in South Africa. It was first declared a national park in 1926 and can be found in the northeast of the country, within the provinces of Mpumalanga and Limpopo. The variety and number of animals within the park make it one of the best places in the world to escape daily life and embark upon your very own African safari adventure.

The Big Five (and more!)

Kruger National Park is home to a massive array of different animals. Within the park visitors have the chance to spot all of the ‘Big Five’ – elephants, buffalo, leopards, rhinos and lions. Visitors might also be able to see giraffes, hippos, zebras and many more. An incredible 500 species of birds can be found in Kruger National Park, along with over 130 different types of mammal. This means there are few better places to see some of Africa’s most iconic safari animals.

Diverse landscapes

Within the park there are rugged mountains, granite hills, lush tropical forests and bush plains. Visitors are free to explore the different areas of the national park independently or as part of a group. The immense road network snaking its way throughout the park makes it an amazing and easy place to explore.

Safari in comfort

Within Kruger National Park there is a wide variety of accommodation available, with something to suit every type of traveller. Singita Lebombo, Lion Sands Ivory Lodge, Royal Malewane, Singita Boulders and Singita Ebony are some of the most luxurious.

Kruger National Park is one of the most popular private jet charter destinations that we transport our clients to and from. Just over a mile from the park lies Hendrik Van Eck Airport. Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and Nelspruit Airports are also both within sixteen and thirty-two miles of the park.
