Mario Merola

Introducing Mario Merola, Global HR Administrator at Chapman Freeborn Airchartering.

Mario has been with Chapman Freeborn for almost two years and has recently been promoted to Global HR Administrator. His new role includes overseeing joining processes and changes within the business, and a variety of other tasks involving different systems and people from all over the business.

Mario says: “I am a people person and love bringing value to whatever I do, with the employees of the organisation being at the top of my list – this is why I’ve always had a passion for working within HR.”

Mario has a new-found love for the aviation industry and enjoys its varied nature, which gives him motivation and a sense of accomplishment when completing tasks and projects.

“Working at Chapman Freeborn has brought out a more adventurous side of myself, since joining the company, I’ve found myself travelling more within and outside the UK. This has made me appreciate life more.”
Mario’s favourite plane is the Pilatus-24 because it’s “small, powerful and super cool – like me!”

In his personal life, Mario enjoys travelling and playing competitive football.  He also loves hosting events, fashion, and spending time with his family and friends.

Mario can be reached at [email protected]
