Fall in love with tango
Buenos Aires is credited with being the birthplace of the tango – a sensual partner dance that first became popular in the 1880s. The tango is intrinsically linked with Argentinian culture and has been included on the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage, recognising the significance of this dance.
There are places to learn, practice and perform your tango moves throughout the city. Get involved in the milonga scene – places where people can dance tango. Every night of the week in Buenos Aires you can find milongas that are full of people dancing, drinking and having the time of their life.
