Hire a private jet charter to Berlin

Berlin is a fascinating city with a turbulent past. Well aware of its place in the history of the late 20th century, it’s become a cool, edgy destination packed with character.

Your private charter flight will touch down at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, a modern international hub connecting this central European country with the rest of the world.

Jump into your transport from the airport and you’ll travel around 40 minutes into the heart of the city and to your hotel.

Where you stay in Berlin will be led by the kind of district that most appeals. The central area, Berlin-Mitte, connects the old and new. Here you’ll find such well-known sights as the Brandenburg Gate situated alongside emerging new companies, many of whom are flocking to Berlin.

You’ll also find hotels like the classically-styled Regent Hotel. A five-star spa with quiet, elegant rooms and suites, and the sumptuous Charlotte and Fritz Restaurant.

Outside the city centre, you might also consider the Charlottenburg-Wilmserdorf area, where artists and intellectuals meet shopping and commerce. This district is also home to the So/ Berlin Das Stue Hotel, a stone’s throw from the zoo and gardens and close to retail outlets.

Once you’ve freshened up, it’s time to head out for dinner and if you’re a meat lover, you’re going to find quite the selection of smoked meats and delicacies. For the best in German and European cuisine, head to Rutz in Chausseestraße.

Alternatively, vegans and vegetarians are well catered for at Kopps, where you’ll also find a subtly-lit cocktail bar ready for your post-dinner nightcap.

If you’re looking for a drink with a view head to the rooftop bar at Hotel De Rome, but be aware of the earlier closing times.

When it comes to seeing the sights, there are plenty of options to take a private guided tour but with so many within walking distance, a stroll through the Tiergarten or around the Brandenburg Gate is perfectly do-able on foot.

For an unusual outing, head to the Stasi Museum, the untouched headquarters of East Germany’s secret police who operated up until 1990 and which is packed full of behind-the-scenes spy equipment and techniques used by this secretive operation.

If you’re visiting in late November, you might be lucky enough to coincide with the Christmas markets. Stroll through the districts and make sure to pause for a glass of gluhwein.

Berlin enjoys mild winters and summers that don’t become too unbearable. Naturally July and August will always be the busiest times but a warm spring or autumnal trip is a great time to book a charter plane.
